Paco's Artisan Village is an international online
collective of artists helping each other to come up on the
Internet and share samples of their works and sell their works
in our World Beat Bazaar. Artisans (Artists of all forms)
and Paco's team develop and maintain their online studio and
product sales areas in the Artisan community where the Artisans
show their works and share about themselves. Paco's Global
Village's unique vision is fostering an online community which
uses the world wide web to cross physical boundaries and globally
nurtures a new cultural and artistic mix.
Paco's Global Artisan Village is capable of representing
hundreds of artists
from around the world. We will have poets, musicians,
painters, dancers, writers and composers,
sculptors, digital artists, performance artists,
and much more. We are always open to adding
artists in new areas.
To reach the artists here, look through our Village Artisans
directory to
the right, click on their listing and then you'll be visiting
their online
Artisan studio, you'll then be able to read about them and
their works.
If you would like to reach the site webmaster, our email address

The
idea of having such a site came to our Editor &
Publisher "Paco" while he was involved in
an open Art studios event in April of 1997 in New York
City's SOHO area. (NYC was his old stomping grounds
during the eighties, and he has always "gone home"
since becoming addicted to the great life there.) Remember
fondly- the Ritz, Palladium, Ashford & Simpson's
20West20 Club in a functioning Antique car museum, Sweetwaters
up on west side, ah, but back to the Artisans.
Paco was the "in studio musical
entertainment" for the invited guests and the artisans,
who were displaying many of their new oil paintings
and fabric collages in the studio.

A friend and young entrepeneur
came through and wanted to purchase an oil painting.
Paco and this art collector talked about how wonderful
it would be to have artisans of all kinds up on the
Internet for viewing.
That's when the answer came
to Paco... a website community that would help artisans
share their art forms with the global viewing public.
Paco started contacting artists at local music festivals,
arts and crafts fairs, New Orlean's Jazz Fest, Monterey
Jazz Festival, Berkeley's arts studios, Greenwich Village
and Amsterdam's writers dens. He also participates in
online discussion groups around the world and other
obscure yet wonderful environments that inspire the
creative's need for practicing their art form and might
be interested in showing their works on the Internet.
Paco is now helping them become a part of this Artisans
community that you are now in.
