| Many
greetings to all of you from
Paco,
First off, I'd like to wish everyone across
this green marble many days of enjoyment as we approach the
various holidays and festivities in all of our respective
countries. And ask that we all reflect on what is right in
our lives as we leave one more year and enter 2008 in the
next two months. Revel in goodness!!!!!
Keep an eye peeled for the launch of our redesigned content
site and e-store coming in late December. Pacosvillage will
have a music and video download store in it, access to online
European deli, high-end womens fashion markdown store and
many other unique "one-of" kinds of treats that
you'd expect out of the Pacosvillage community.
My personal Editorial Comment:
Enough, the dumbing of America is just getting further institutionalized
thanks to George W. Bush and his murderous corruptors in Washington,
D.C.. Main thing I've gotten out of most recent political
debate is America is very willing to teach their children
that rules and moral strength is great unless you can save
$0.14 on a head of lettuce, then it's OK to spit in the face
of logic and let the law-breakers and immigration criminals
become forgiven by an act of a perverse government who needs
their maids and toilet-cleaners.
the sane world at large.............
We have been very active searching
out wonderful stories from the many Arts & Music world
folks we are meeting during our most recent travels. See
below for a short description of one of those great
group of artists. You’re in for a real treat when you
go into the 2007 Year-End issue of Paco’s
Global Village-it's our fresh new look to move
through rest of 2007, into 2008.
We're slowly but completely mending all the broken links
and broken content sections that resulted from the Hackers
last summer doing their damage on us.
At the start of the year we are reopening our World events
calendars, so that the various contributors from around the
globe can log in and keep us aware in advance of the major
Arts & Music events in their localities. I've had so many
visitors to the site email me stories of how they read an
article of an upcoming event in a country they coincidently
were travelling to and how they went to the event met lots
of local folks and it added to the adventure of the new place
they were in. Sometinh to look forward to.
We’re still that same World
Beat original content environment,
and yes, we still are searching for freelance writing contributors
to input their articles on the Visual & Performance Arts
and Music to us for publishing. Please
follow the rules though, we'll need you to ensure that you
have the proper rights to publish your articles and photos,
or we cannot publish them....

- A Class Apart- Met this fine
group of musicians and sampled their sounds- and boy are
these guys hot. Not to mention they are practiced and serious
artitsts- look out Putomayo Records or Groove Gravy
Records, you might be missing a hot property here to add
to your fine array of World Music talents- we'll talk!!!
A Class Apart had just finished a superb 4-day
gig at "the leather bar" at the Park Resort in
Chennai, India. They're based in Calcutta, India and are
trying to break out big, with an expected multi-city tour
in the US later this year. Hopefully I can convince one
of my club-owner friends to sign them for a night in Los
Angeles, that city needs a little class (and I'm being very
kind assuming theres any now). Described by the Park "For
the lovers of fusion lounge music, it can't get any groovier
than this."...
